Finding the perfect foundation match can be a challenge—especially in a world where beauty often lacks representation. To close that gap, Sephora introduced Colour iQ, a shade-matching technology designed to help every individual find their ideal shade. Rooted in Sephora’s belief that beauty lives in diversity, we launched a campaign that brought this mission to life in bold and meaningful ways.

At the heart of the campaign was Sephora Illumination—an immersive, data-driven art installation powered by Colour iQ. Drawing from over 140,000 shade matches collected across Canada, the installation transformed skin tone data into a glowing, interactive experience that celebrated the spectrum of beauty found in every corner of the country. Supported by a national broadcast spot, the campaign was both a visual tribute and a cultural statement.

More than a technology showcase, this was an invitation: to see yourself, to be seen, and to recognize the beauty in our differences. The campaign reaffirmed Sephora Canada’s role as an inclusive leader in the beauty space—and deepened its connection with a diverse and growing community.
